| Sunset View is a fully air-conditioned typical Floridian villa (although a sturdy floor fan
helps to cool the games room) and there are ceiling fans fitted to the sitting room and both
Master bedrooms. It is a bungalow style home with all rooms on one level. A gentle ramp leading
up to the front door means that wheelchair and pushchair access is easy. Most rooms are easily
wheelchair accessible. This is a strictly no smoking home; if you wish you can smoke outside
in the pool area but one must be very careful about extinguishing and disposing of cigarettes.
There is a lot of grass, reeds, bushes, etc surrounding the house and the land is often very
dry in Florida.
All crockery, cutlery, towels and linens are provided; also included in the rental price is a villa clean after every client staying 7 nights or more*, carried out by our management company. The games room houses a 7ft Pool Table, Air Hockey, Dart Board and Indoor Basketball Game with a large cooling floor fan. There is also a fully equipped laundry room with large, separate washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. The home has a telephone for local calls; long distance calls payable locally. * If your stay is less than 7 nights you will be liable to pay £55.00 for cleaning,
direct to us and this is to be paid when you pay the balance of your holiday cost. |
| The kitchen is well furnished and open plan and combines with a large breakfast nook. It
is superbly fitted out with all you will need including large electric cooker, toaster, coffee
maker, microwave, larder style fridge freezer, dishwasher, waste disposal system, etc.
The breakfast nook dining area seats six people and the table has views toward the pool area and conservation area and natural lake beyond. Between the breakfast nook and the sitting room is a beautiful old world writing desk, perfect for sitting to write all your postcards home! The family room has comfortable leather and suede seating, and there is a large, 27” remote control television with numerous family friendly cable channels along with a DVD/Video player – you’ll also find some great films on DVD and video for you to enjoy. This room has direct access through sliding doors and screens to the deck and pool. The formal dining room has seating for four, and there is a good supply of crockery, glassware, cutlery and cookware for at-home dining. There is also a second quiet sitting area adjacent to this room ideal for use as a quiet reading area or just somewhere to get a bit of time alone away from the rest of the party. We've provided a few good books too for your use whilst you are our guests. There are two Master bedrooms, each one spacious, comfortable and very
restful. One overlooks the swimming pool with direct access through sliding
patio doors
and screens onto the pool deck. This has a spacious walk in closet with a fixed floor safe
that can be used for a nominal charge and the bedroom also has night-tables, lamps, clock
radio and a Television with integral DVD player. The large adjoining bathroom has twin washbasins,
bath, WC and separate shower. This bathroom has a door leading directly onto the deck and
pool area. The pool area is glorious! This part of the home faces towards the west so takes advantage of the afternoon sun and is perfect for relaxing and watching the sun setting over the lake, you’ll see why we’ve called our home Sunset View. It has a large sun deck complete with superior patio dining furniture, ideal for breakfasting after a morning swim. There are four sun-loungers for relaxing and sunbathing. The pool is approximately 24’ x 12’ and can be heated when required (at an extra charge). There is also a Jacuzzi Spa next to the pool and a child-safety pool guard. A hand rail leads you down the steps into the pool. The pool and Jacuzzi are used at guests’ own risk. Children must be supervised at all times when in the pool and pool area. The child-safety pool guard should be left in place at all times, especially if there are children staying with you at the villa. For safety’s sake, the pool should not be used by any one person without supervision or another adult present. The open aspect from the pool area is stunning and affords some privacy and striking views. During the early evening the wide varieties of birds fly home over the lake – a sight to behold. You might be lucky enough to see Vultures, Bald Eagles, Egrets and many others – bring your binoculars! You’ll also hear the crickets and grasshoppers and may see colourful frogs and beautiful butterflies. It is truly wonderful.
